<reviewbody>This is a generally nice recording of the band with a crowd mic. But unfortunately, as with any audience-level recording, the cheering from the surrounding people is so shrill that it's almost impossible to listen to this recording at all.

It's nice to have it for historical sake, but practically, I'll never listen to it -- the screaming is just so directly into the mic at the front and back of so many of the tracks. Unless you want it for archival reasons, skip this recording. I'm disappointed that I spent as much time as I did on downloading and converting it.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Too bad that band in the backgound was making all that noise. If they had quieted down a bit it'd have been a lot easier to hear the cacophony of sound that the audience was so intent on sharing.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>I am a recent Beirut fan and was really stoked to see him on the Live Music Archive. This particular recording however is distant, and the screams / talking of fans in the crowd nearby at the start / end of most of the songs definitely does get distracting. There are better recordings here on archive.org, seek those out and keep this one as a 'fall back' if you really are looking for more shows to listen to.

As far as the band sound, I like the mix it has. Trumpets, violin, drums, a cool mujo of sounds. Very 'Andrew-Bird' meets 'Calexico'. Awesome stuff.</reviewbody>
    <reviewtitle>Still sort of enjoyable</reviewtitle>
